DAILY MAINTENANCE
Step 1: Ice Breakthrough with Care
Using a Rubber Mallet, gently break through the top layer of ice that forms from the day/night before. Exercise caution to avoid puncturing the pod walls during this process.
Step 2: Internal Wall Maintenance row
Lightly push on all the pod walls to break inward any ice buildup. Be patient and careful to prevent damage to the pod material. This simple step ensures the internal surfaces remain free from excessive ice accumulation.
Step 3: Ice Removal and Water Level Check
Scoop out excess ice using a bucket, especially if there is a significant buildup. If this removal reduces the water level, replenish it by adding 2-4 buckets of water. Ensure a balanced water level to optimize your cold plunge experience.
Important Note
For users residing in sub-zero climates, it is crucial to perform the above maintenance steps DAILY. Consistent care ensures the longevity and usability of The Krýo Pod. If left unattended for too long, there's a risk of it completely freezing through, rendering it unusable. Regular, simple maintenance is the key to preserving your investment and ensuring continued enjoyment of the benefits of cold plunging.
